Tim Stone

Tim Stone trained at Frere Cholmeley in London, joining the Commercial Litigation Department on qualification in 1992. He left London to work for Eversheds in Leeds in 1996 and was a partner at Hill Dickinson LLP and Lee & Priestley before founding 3volution with Louise Handley and Jonathan Priestley.

 Tim specialises in commercial litigation work dealing with disputes arising from business agreements and corporate transactions, shareholders disputes and claims against professional advisers. He has particular expertise in pensions disputes and has acted in a number of landmark cases including Trustee Solutions -v- Dubery and the Imperial Home Décor case (Bridge Trustees -v- Yates).

 Tim is listed as a leader in his field in Chambers UK Guide 2023 where he is described as being “an astute and effective lawyer”.
